Beer pump manufacturer secures new 10,000 sq ft premises

A manufacturer and designer of hand and beer pumps has secured a 10,000 sq ft unit in Thirsk.

Angram, which has been operating for 40 years, makes products and provides services within the beer dispense industry. Its base, as part of the 33,000 sq ft Thirsk Industrial Estate, houses its offices, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution services.

Angram is an independently family owned business and employs more than 50 people.

Leeds-based Ryden let the 10,000 sq ft unit on behalf of private clients, with a ten year lease with five year break option at a rent of £44,000 per annum. In addition to letting the property, Ryden’s Building Consultancy team also managed the terminal dilapidations and refurbishment project following the termination of the long lease to the previous occupier.

The property is part of a portfolio of properties within Ryden’s managed portfolio of commercial and retail buildings and industrial estates.

Dan Hodge, Head of Industrial Agency at Ryden in Leeds said: “This new letting represents part of larger remit where our Agency, Building Consultancy and Property Management teams have worked together to provide a seamless service for this valued, long standing private client.

“Thirsk as an industrial location continues to provide healthy income for our investment client and is well located for occupiers and employers alike.”

Other occupiers at the Park include amongst others Jewson, NFU Mutual and Langver Engineering.
