Work on multi-million pound refurb of historic building completes

Work to deliver a multi-million pound refurbishment of a historic Sheffield city centre office building has completed.

Steel City House, an Art-Deco building on West Street, close to the City Hall, counts British Business Bank and most recently BRM Solicitors as tenants.

The property, which is being marketed by the Sheffield offices of Knight Frank, provides 55,000 sq ft of high specification offices.

Peter Whiteley, partner and head of Knight Frank’s Sheffield office, said: “The recent announcement of BRM Solicitors taking 4,500 sq ft on floor three at Steel City House is likely to be the first of such lettings announced for 2018 as the levels of interest in the property are high.

“Steel City House is a unique, historic property with a striking facade fashioned in the Art-Deco style and because of this and the superb refurbishment by Scotts Developments, delivers a truly individual environment for office occupiers.”

The remaining space at Steel City House is split across four floors and is available in floorplates of approximately 3,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft.
