Firm sets its sights on further growth after securing funding package

A Leeds-based customer engagement firm has received a funding package to support its growth.

ixRM, based in Morley, the Microsoft Partner and specialist in Microsoft Dynamic 365 for Customer Engagement, has raised loan–funding from Business Enterprise Fund (BEF) to enable the company to continue its expansion plans, including moving to larger offices and employing more staff to deal with the increasing demands for their services.

The package has seen the firm go from three employees to seven employees and moved from a 200 sq ft office to a 500 sq ft office to facilitate the next stage of growth up to 15 employees.

Dave Cockerham, CEO, said: “We are grateful to BEF for backing us at our relatively early stage of development and accepting our Business Plan and forecasts.

“This funding has enabled us to take the critical step to recruit additional consultants, allowing us to both deliver more client work and increase the level of our pro-active marketing.”

Jeremy Meadowcroft, Investment Manager at BEF commented: “We were delighted to work with David and Karen to support ixRM with the funding to facilitate their growth aspirations, as a forward thinking and well managed SME business.”

WGN worked with ixRM to prepare to apply for funding. Raymond Wolfson of RWY added: “It has been a pleasure working with Dave and Karen Cockerham to help them obtain this funding. I am particularly impressed with their entrepreneurial and client-focused approach and look forward to helping them to deliver their growth plans.

“It is never easy raising funding for start-ups and early stage businesses, capable of significant growth, but WGN has been a leading player in this field for many years and I am delighted to be working with Colin Glass and the WGN team”.
