Leeds-headquartered software developer Audacia has doubled its office space by relocating to a 4,090 sq ft office at 46 The Calls, driven by an expanding workforce and new business wins.

Audacia, which specialises in developing problem-solving technology for complex business critical projects, made the move from its 2,000 sq ft space in the same waterside office building to house its growing team.

During 2017, the company doubled its headcount to 32 analysts, developers and testers. The latest move marks its second office expansion in as many years.

Audacia’s new top-floor office can accommodate up to 65 people, and also features two terraces and three meeting rooms, allowing the company to continue its recruitment strategy and deliver its portfolio of global projects.

Founded in 2010, company’s clients include British Gypsum, AESSEAL, Story Homes, Europcar and other clients in the manufacturing, construction and agriculture sectors.

This year, it won a competitive tender against 30 other companies to become a critical technology partner for Specialist Marine Consultants (SMC), a global leader in offshore solutions.

Audacia managing director, Philip White, said: “Our business keeps growing at a steady pace, with several new project wins and new recruits this year following a strong 2017. We’re in an excellent position to continue growing against our current business plan, and having an attractive working environment and a city-centre location is vital to the happiness of our team.

“Audacia has built an outstanding reputation as one of Yorkshire’s most promising technology companies. As a well-established, reliable and innovative technology partner for global clients, we look forward to continuing our expansion and success.”

Audacia also has a central London office which opened in November 2017 to service the company’s expanding list of clients located in the South East.
