London-based digital agency Cyber-Duck is launching an office in Leeds following record growth.

Cyber-Duck has achieved strong organic growth working on digital transformation and website projects for clients including the Bank of England, Mitsubishi Electric, Thomas Cook Money and Cancer Research UK.

The expansion into Yorkshire comes after a run of new account wins as the agency approaches its 13th anniversary. The agency is planning to expand on its 45-strong team with the opening of new offices at Platform.

Siji Onabanjo, growth director at Cyber-Duck, said: “Having built up a great reputation as a leading user-centred digital transformation agency in London, we made the carefully considered decision to open up our third office in Yorkshire to further support our growing number of Northern clients.

“Leeds was the obvious choice. Enamoured by its fantastic digital buzz, active Fintech scene, and great pool of talent, we felt Leeds has a lot to offer Cyber-Duck, and Cyber-Duck has a lot to offer Leeds. We have transformed the digital presences of high-calibre clients like the Bank of England and Thomas Cook, and now we are keen to use our expertise to help more businesses excel with their digital ambitions.

“The Platform stood out as being a great place to begin our Leeds journey. We were hugely impressed with the Platform’s high quality workspaces and the culture of collaboration and innovation they foster. We look forward to becoming a real part of the thriving Leeds digital community and using our expertise to further drive digital growth in the region.”

Chief executive at Leeds City Council Tom Riordan said: “We are immensely proud of and excited about the dynamic Digital sector being built here in Leeds. There is a huge amount of talent in the City and we look forward to welcoming the Cyber-Duck team. Having a successful London agency choosing Leeds as a key strategic location is a great win and will further enhance the digital services the city can offer.”
