New £1m national HQ for recycling business

A national recycling business is expanding its operations in Hull after acquiring a new £1m manufacturing space on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate.

The former Sutton Manufacturing Solutions factory, located on Rotterdam Road at the junction with Amsterdam Road, which had been marketed for £1.25m by PPH Commercial, has been snapped up.

Standing on a 3.18-acre site, the deal for the 51,500 sq ft facility is the largest completed for a single property on the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate this year.

Ben Medhurst, of PPH Commercial, said: “I am delighted to confirm the sale of this fantastic facility, which has been bought by a company looking to expand their operations in the city.

“It is the largest single industrial property to be sold on Sutton Fields this year and this sizeable deal is likely to create a significant number of new jobs, which is great news for Hull’s economy.

“This sale is further evidence of the strength of the local industrial property market, which now has the lowest level of available property seen in the last 25 years.”
