Online pharmacy firm announces further growth
Leeds-headquartered Pharmacy2U, Britain’s biggest online pharmacy, has moved into a 65,000 sq ft unit in Leicestershire to further grow the business.
The first phase of Mountpark Logistics’ Mountpark Bardon scheme has completed. Pharmacy2U is to create an automated dispensing facility at the site which will produce up to 6.5 million items a month.
“Pharmacy2U, is managing NHS repeat prescriptions from request to delivery for over 270,000 patients across the country and is growing over 100% YOY,” said Mark Livingstone, chief executive of Pharmacy2U. “Mountpark Bardon is at the heart of the UK’s motorway network, so it is an ideal location for us and we are delighted to have secured this building.”
Pharmacy2U joins Amazon and Eddie Stobart on the first phase of Mountpark Bardon, which include three units totalling 1.45m sq ft.
