Business park welcomes first tenant following £2.5m investment

A newly developed £2.5m business park in Sheffield has welcomed its first tenant.

Neways Chartered Building Company has taken 6,239 sq ft at Winston Business Park for its new Chapeltown headquarters.

The firm offers a full range of services from building, structural repairs and refurbishment to contents removal and storage for customers in both commercial and residential sectors.

The letting marks the first at the new industrial estate on Churchill Way, which is owned by L&T Grayson Investments.

The park’s new units, designed by Sheffield’s Tatlow Stancer Architects, have been built on the last undeveloped plot forming part of Junction 35a Business Park, and range from 3,044 to 4,140 sq ft.

They can be combined to offer up to 12,400 sq ft, to accommodate larger requirements.

Leon Grayson of Neways said: “It’s an exciting time to be working in the building industry. It’s changing rapidly and we’re changing with it.

“The new site is ideally located close to J35a and offers direct access to the M1. The unit was tailored to suit our requirements and offers storage with head office style accommodation.”

John Jarman at Knight Frank in Sheffield added: “The development of Winston Business Park offers new, high quality units for lease. They have been designed with flexibility for incoming occupiers and provide much needed stock in a strategic location near the M1 to suit a variety of occupiers.

“We have strong interest already in the accommodation which is due to reach practical completion at the end of September.”
