Property events firm builds for growth with new office move

A construction and property events firm has moved to a new office in Leeds to support its workforce expansion plan.

Built Environment Networking has relocated to larger premises at Thorpe Park in Leeds, allowing the company to double the size of its team.

The company, which recently recruited 10 new members of staff, is hosting over 70 events attended by more than 10,000 people across the UK and Ireland in 2018.

Founded in 2011, Built Environment Networking has worked alongside public and private sector businesses, including Heathrow Airport, Jaguar Land Rover, Transport for London and McLaren Automotive.

Among the new events the firm is hosting this year is the HS2 Economic Growth Conference set to be held in Birmingham.

Keith Griffiths, managing director of Built Environment Networking, said: ‘’This is an exciting new chapter for Built Environment Networking. Seven years ago, I founded the company alongside Amanda Coupland and it’s gone from strength to strength.

“We’ve worked hard to bring in a diverse team who’ll be able to deliver exceptional conferences for our client base.’’

Tom Riordan, chief executive of Leeds City Council, added: ‘’Leeds City Council enjoys collaborating with Built Environment Networking because their network of contacts brings large organisations from across the UK who have an ambition to invest into Yorkshire and our region, which in turn brings new jobs, homes and opportunities for those living within Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire region.’’
