Fashion Ball set to host launch event
A launch event for next year’s FB Fashion Ball is to be held in Leeds in the coming weeks.
Numerous businesses with their leaders, employees and clients will be attending the FB Launch Party at Dakota Hotel in Leeds on 14 November to kick-off celebrations in style showcasing what’s to come.
The ball itself will be held on Thursday 16 May at New Dock Hall, Leeds and is always a firm fixture in the diary for regional businesses, many of whom put forward employees to take to the catwalk. There will also be a Manchester event again this year.
The next top model search is now on with scouts out in the Leeds and Manchester business communities looking for business leaders and their employees to take to the catwalk for their chosen charity.
The unique 12 Scene catwalk show is already being shaped with high profile brands such as French Connection, Coast, House of Fraser, Jigsaw and Ted Baker already signed up, with other designers cueing up for a chance to showcase their SS19 collection.
Organiser Lisa Darwin said: “The FB Fashion Ball has been an annual highlight in the business community for the past 21 years, and this year we wanted to bring back FB to Manchester after much interest and create a bigger national event with a breath taking show like no other and I think we are well on track!
“We are excited once again to support a large number 30+ worthy charities as each model will strut for their chosen charity supported by their business.”
After the success of last year, the glitzy black-tie event will host the FB Business & Lifestyle Awards which celebrate and honour the region’s businesses, lifestyle brands and worthy individuals. There will be awards for Best Business to work for, Business Leader of the year, Fashion Retailer of the year, Marketing team of the year, CSR of the year and many more.
Overall the evening will be a fantastic networking opportunity for the hundreds of guests attending but offers a full evening of entertainment with prizes and a glamourous VIP After- Show party at Neighbourhood Bar in association with J9 Advisory.
