Plans for Crypt Factor 2019 announced

Preparations are underway for the 2019 Crypt Factor event, for which 70% of tables have already been reserved.

Organisers are urging anyone wanting to perform at the property industry’s annual singing competition to sign up now. Next year’s Crypt Factor, a popular charity event in the calendar, will take place on Thursday 21 March 2019 at Elland Road.

The show’s organising committee and main sponsors, comprising of Bruntwood, Gent Visick and Pinsent Masons, are now inviting budding solo singers, as well as a girl and a boy band, to put themselves forward to help raise tens of thousands of pounds for two deserving local charities.

Over the last 12 years, Crypt Factor has raised well-over £640,000 for charity, and the proceeds from next year’s event will again be shared equally between St George’s Crypt and The Leeds Fund, which is managed by Leeds Community Foundation.  TheBusinessDesk.com is the event’s official media partner and additional support is provided by Candid PR, Saville Audio Visual and Anderson Advertising & Property Marketing.

Craig Burrow, from Bruntwood, said: “We already have an exciting line-up of acts confirmed for next year, but we still have space for a couple more.  Singers don’t need to have performed on stage before, because as long as they can sing, we will give them all the help and advice they need to ensure they shine on the night.  It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any budding singers to perform, with the full support of a professional production team, in front of a vast and hugely supportive audience.

“As soon as tables went on sale for 2019, two-thirds were immediately reserved which demonstrates the appetite for this event from the region’s property industry.  We’re delighted with this continued support, especially after the disappointment of having to postpone and rearrange the show earlier this year, for the first time in its 12-year history, due to the Beast from the East’s freak snow storms.  We’re now planning to make Crypt Factor 2019 the biggest and best show in the event’s history.”

Crypt Factor 2018 was won by all female group Property X, comprising Nina Barker from JLL, Denise McGeachy from Bracken, Vicky Green from Trident and Amelia Wheatcroft-Brown from Eversheds-Sutherland, who gave a rousing “mash-up” rendition of Up Town Funk and Run The World.
