Landmark offices hit the market for £30m

A Leeds city centre office which houses Deloitte has been put on the market for £30m.

Aviva Investors is looking to dispose of One City Square, the “iconic” building which dominates City Square opposite Leeds railway station.

Knight Frank has been appointed to sell the multi-let 107,934 sq ft building. Rebecca Farnsworth, investment partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “We have received strong interest from a wide variety of buyers as One City Square offers a unique combination of secure income, coupled with asset management opportunities, and has never been sold before.”

The property agency’s website describes the building as a “landmark office property over twelve floors.”

One City Square has a secure income from Deloitte on 45% of the accommodation for a further 9.5 years. Its net initial yield stands at 5.45%.
