£1m transformation of former city centre office building underway

Construction work has begun on the £1m transformation of a former office building in Bradford into 31 studio apartments with ground floor commercial space.

Located on James Street in Bradford city centre, the redevelopment of the 4,257 sq ft building is being completed by Leeds-based housebuilder Priestley Homes.

Apartments will occupy the top three floors of the four-storey former office block, with renovation works combining the building’s original features with new details.

The existing ground floor commercial space will be retained for local businesses to rent.
