Plans submitted for £112m of further investment in flood defences

Plans have now been submitted for an additional £112.1m investment into Leeds flood defences. Phase two of the Leeds Flood Alleviation Scheme aims to reduce flood risk along the River Aire and areas upstream of Leeds city centre. The planning application, which has been delivered in collaboration with Leeds City Council and the Environment Agency, details a range of measures to reduce the risk of flooding along a 14-kilometre stretch along the River Aire catchment.
