Freight forwarding firm snaps up competitor

Leeds-headquartered freight forwarding company Ligentia has bought the assets of Manchester-based Air & Cargo Services, taking the newly formed group to a £160m-turnover firm. The purchase will see Ligentia's fast expanding global network grow to more than 70 offices, employing more than 450 staff.
