Rackets at the ready for tennis tournament

Yorkshire’s all-star tournament Berry’s Tennis has confirmed St James’s Place Wealth Management as a key sponsor for the 2019 tournament.

Hosted by Clique Events, Berry’s Tennis is now in its second year hosted at Hazelwood Castle.

St. James’s Place is a FTSE 100 company with £100.6bn worth of client funds under management providing a range of wealth management solutions from investments to pensions.

Matt Haycox, owner of Clique Events, said:  “We are delighted to have such a high-profile sponsor like St. James’s Place on board for the next year of Berry’s Tennis. Being able to secure such high-profile sponsors for the event illustrates the growth of Berry’s Tennis since its launch last Summer.”

St James’s Place added: “We’re delighted to sponsor this special event in its second year.  It will be a fantastic chance to see some well-known faces from the game while also enjoying the elegant surroundings of Hazelwood Castle.”

Berry’s Tennis will be staged at the iconic Hazelwood Castle from June 26-28th featuring a host of tennis legends who will be taking to the famous centre court. Now in its second year the tournament has already welcomed a golden list of former tennis greats to its courts over the years, including players such as Henri Leconte, Xavier Malisse, & Oliver Rocha.

Haycox added: “There’s so much to look forward to at Berry’s Tennis 2019. Not the least of which is the return of Ladies Day, which was such a hit with the players, sponsors and fans last year. We can’t wait to welcome you next year.”
