Food contract to deliver £300,000 revenue for cyber security group

Bradford-based cyber-security group ECSC, has secured a contract win with a major food producer which will generate £300,000 in revenue over a three-year period.

The listed firm, which last reported in its six-month results that it had grown revenues in the period to £2.6m from £1.8m and narrowed pre-tax losses to £817,000, will provide cyber security monitoring and breach detection to the new contract. The solution utilises the ECSC proprietary Kepler Artificial Intelligence, managed from the Group Security Operations Centres in Bradford and Australia.

The £300,000 in revenue over a three-year period represents an increase of more than 10% to the Managed Services order book.

Ian Mann, CEO of ECSC, said: “We are delighted to further expand our support to this existing Managed Services client, and helping them meet the Information Commissioners’ Office (ICO) expectations for cyber security monitoring and breach detection under GDPR.”
