Expanding law firm secures move to city centre office building
Avison Law is making the move to Leeds city centre after snapping up 1,585 sq ft of Grade A office space at Fountain House in South Parade.
The boutique law firm is relocating from Bradford and has signed a five-year lease on the whole of the ground floor of Fountain House.
Avison Law secured the move in a deal brokered by property consultancy Knight Frank.
Sam Jamieson of Knight Frank, who acted for landlords, said: “We are delighted to welcome Avison Law to Fountain House. This is a very impressive building, not only because of its imposing art deco façade and location at the heart of the city centre business district, but also because of its proximity to the train station and commuter routes as well as shops, restaurants and bars. All this makes it a great place to work.”
Kush Verma, managing director of Avison Law, added: “Our Leeds office is now our head office, Leeds is the largest legal centre outside London and it was only right that, having made the move to Leeds from Bradford, our head office moved to Leeds.
“We first came to look at Fountain House at the start of 2018 and we instantly knew it was where we wanted to be. The location could not be more central as we are only a few minutes from the train station and the law Courts. Park Square and the retail centre are on either side of where we are located.
“South Parade is probably the most car friendly street in the city centre where clients can visit our office and find parking at most times. The building itself is exceptional and has been refurbished to a very high standard. All in all we felt it was the right solution which would enable us to move and grow.”
Avison Law is a boutique law firm that specialises in all types of litigation and property matters. The firm deals with criminal, civil and commercial litigation whereby it provides bespoke solutions for individuals and companies alike.
The firm also has a personal injury department that deals with matters ranging from minor road traffic accidents to serious injuries sustained at work and also clinical and dental negligence matters.
