People: Property operating partner appoints investment director; Cushman & Wakefield welcomes new planner

Citivale, the York-based property operating partner, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Rebecca Farnsworth as Investment Director.

Farnsworth has over 20 years’ experience of commercial property investment and joins from property consultancy Knight Frank in Leeds, where she had been a Partner in the Capital Markets team for nearly 12 years.

She worked across all commercial sectors in the region for a wide client base and led a number of high-profile transactions including the recent sale of 1 City Square, Leeds.

Prior to that, Farnsworth worked in an investment role in London at Weatherall, Green and Smith (now BNP Paribas).

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its Development & Planning team in Leeds with the appointment of Katrina Crisp as Planner.

Crisp joins from Indigo Planning and brings four years’ experience in a variety of sectors. Her work has included retail, infrastructure and residential schemes.

In her new role, Crisp will be responsible for planning appeals, applications and public consultations as well as supporting the wider planning team.

She will report to Katrina Hulse, Planning Partner in Leeds.
