Property consultant launches new planning and development team

Property consultant JLL has announced the launch of a new planning and development team for Yorkshire and the North East.

The team will work with landowners and developers to speed up the delivery of property developments, particularly residential sites, across the region.

The team comprises directors Henry Burton, Joanna Gabrilatsou and Charles Calvert, associate Jamie Cardwell, senior surveyor Hannah Partington and surveyor Zoe Peace.

Jeff Pearey, lead director Yorkshire and North East at JLL, said: “This is an exciting an exciting enhancement to our regional business which ensures that we are able to deliver the best planning and development advice on schemes across the region.

“The team’s focus is to deliver independent specialist advice, supported by early stage research and strategic insight to help ensure client’s proposals receive planning permission and their development opportunities deliver the best returns.”

Notable projects JLL has already advised on include the Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust on its Leeds Teaching Hospital surplus estate strategy, which includes the Grade-I Listed Gilbert Scott Building and Grade-II Listed Old Medical School and the delivery of a 6,000 residential unit scheme in North Lincolnshire.
