Work completed on office building revamp

Work has now been completed on the refurbishment of Parkview House in Woodvale Office Park in Brighouse.

Towngate, the commercial lettings specialist and landlord, began work on the historic multi-occupied building in summer 2018.

Alongside updating some of the office suites and communal areas for the existing tenants, a 2,040 sq ft vacant space on the ground floor has also been refurbished and is now ready for occupation.

The refurbishment of the communal internal areas has been carried out in keeping with the property’s period décor. This has seen modern toilets and decorative tiles being installed throughout, whilst the original brickwork on the landings and stairwells has been exposed.

The building is currently occupied by Saint-Gobain Building Distribution, residential property landlord Together Housing, business printing support organisation BPIF and national charity Community Transport.

Robert Smith, Towngate’s managing director, said: “Crowther Turnbull Booth has done a fantastic job in overseeing this property refurbishment. The building forms part of an original 1800s silk mill, which is why we wanted to emphasise some of its historic features – the firm has executed this perfectly.

“We’d like to thank our tenants at Parkview House, who have been extremely patient with the ongoing work. We’ve kept in close contact with them throughout the process and ensured the working environment has been kept as clean and tidy as possible, to minimise any disruption.

“We’re delighted to bring the ground floor office back to the market, and looking forward to presenting this high-quality, self-contained space – including its own kitchen facilities – to potential occupiers.”
