People: Promotions at CBRE; Solicitor appointment; and more

The Leeds office of CBRE has announced three promotions across its Operational Real Estate, Industrial and Property Management teams following another strong financial year for the business.

Sam Potrykus and Lee Robertshaw have been promoted to Associate Director within the Operational Real Estate and Property Management teams respectively, while Sophie Angus has been promoted to Senior Surveyor within the Industrial team.

Over the last 12 months, CBRE’s Leeds office has retained its leading position within the Yorkshire property market and has witnessed another period of sustained growth, with six teams welcoming new members.

CBRE’s Operational Real Estate division has grown by a third and the Leeds business has also launched dedicated Project Management and Residential Sales divisions to further enhance its client service offering.

AWB Charlesworth Solicitors, with offices in Skipton, Keighley, Bingley and Bradford, have appointed a new Associate Director, Janine Eaglesfield – formerly of Gordons and Shulmans LLP.

Eaglesfield has over 25 years’ experience in property legal work, covering a wide range of commercial and residential work both locally and nationally. Her move to AWB Charlesworth Solicitors shows the continuous growth of the firm and the ambitions of the practice as they expand throughout the area.

Based in the Keighley office, she specialises in commercial property and her appointment as Associate Director will include managerial responsibilities and an involvement with the day to day management of the practice alongside the board of directors.
