Wensleydale inn sold to first-time publicans

A Wensleydale inn has been acquired by first-time publicans. Paul and Christine Hornsby have acquired The Old Horn Inn at Spennithorne near Leyburn in North Yorkshire of a guide price of £245,000. The Old Horn Inn consists of a bar with ceiling beams and open fire as well as a dining room, usually laid to seat 20 covers. The Yorkshire Dales inn was previously owned by Jeff and Di Forster, who acquired the property in 2006 and decided to sell in order to retire.
