Clique Events bolsters team with new business development manager

Clique Events, owners of the renowned Berry’s tennis tournament, has appointed Sarah Restrick as its new business development manager.

Sarah has extensive experience, with 12 years working in luxury retail management and corporate collaborations, running fashion shows and personal shopping events.

Matt Haycox, owner of Clique Events said: “We are thrilled to welcome Sarah to the team as she brings with her a wealth of experience and an impressive background working in the events industry.

“I look forward to seeing what she is able to bring to the business and I am confident she will be a great addition to the team.”

One of Sarah’s first projects will be the Berry’s Tennis Classic, one of the region’s best Summer garden parties, set in the grounds of the Hazlewood Castle in Leeds on 26-28 June.

Clique events has guaranteed three days of tennis, networking and its sartorial ‘garden party’.

There will be exhibition tennis from a host of legends and showcases from Berry’s Jewellers and Alexander’s Prestige Harrogate, while guests indulge in exquisite food, wine and lashings of champagne.

Sarah said: “I feel privileged to be working on such an incredible event and we hope to succeed in topping the previous year. We are really pulling out all the stops to make this happen and I can’t wait to see the end result, as it’s bound to a great day.”

The impressive portfolio of tennis stars on the bill includes the unstoppable Richard Krajicek, Belgium former No1 ‘X’ Man, Xavier Malisse, South Africa-born Wayne Ferreira and Moroccan legend Younes Al Eynaoui.

Matt Haycox said: “We are so pleased with how well received the inaugural Berry’s Tennis Classic has been in Yorkshire last year that we decided to come back with a second edition, extending the event to three days.

“We are very excited to be back at the Hazelwood Castle, with this year’s event expected to be better than ever. Guests will witness a host of tennis legends play live, whilst relishing in some of Yorkshire’s best hospitality.”
