Sano Physiotherapy completes latest acquisition

Sano Physiotherapy (Sano), the fast-growing provider of physiotherapy and occupational health solutions, has acquired Yorkshire Physio Network (YPN).

The sale of YPN enables principal shareholder, Jonathan Picot, to focus on his role as first team physio at Manchester United. Another shareholder, Chris Argles, will remain with the business, which has four clinics in Leeds.

The intention is for YPN to rebrand under the Sano name in due course.

This is the second acquisition in the last 12 months for Sano, taking the number of employees to over 130 across its 45 premises. The demand for clinics and assessment centres is continuing to grow and Sano is actively looking for opportunities to maximise its footprint nationally.

Sano offers professional physiotherapy, sports massage and occupational health physiotherapy services throughout clinics in the Midlands, Yorkshire, the North East and Teesside.

Sano was founded by managing director and chartered physiotherapist, Matthew Taylor, who established the cmpany’s first clinic based in Pudsey, Leeds in 2011.
