£7m turnover commercial property firm opens new base

A commercial property fit out firm which has been based in Sheffield since 1984 has launched a new office in the centre of Leeds.

Dale Office Interiors, which has a £7m turnover with plans to increase this to £10m in 2020, now has a base in the Platform Building, next to Leeds Railway Station.

The business said it wanted to take advantage of new industries flooding into Leeds, citing an investment of £3.9bn in large development schemes in Leeds over the last decade and a further £7.3bn in the pipeline.

John Elliss, the firm’s Marketing Manager, said: “As we have a large client base in Leeds and West Yorkshire it was the logical decision to base ourselves in the area.

“We’re extremely excited to use the Platform space as a business hub for our Sales and Marketing team, as well as a space for clients to meet with our Project Directors and Workplace Consultants.”

Managing Director, David Bricknell said: “A Leeds presence is pivotal in fulfilling our vision to be the region’s leading design and build company.

“Having our boots on the ground in another key location means more clients and network partners have instant access to our trusted design and fit out expertise.”

Elliss added: “Leeds is a city that we believe has great potential for Dale’s commercial design and build services; it is the UK’s fastest growing city with huge boosts in all areas of business.

“We believe we can be the go to office fit out company in the region, offering an unrivaled service with solutions for commercial spaces to inspire clients and staff, improve health and well-being, increase productivity and create environments that are fit for purpose, encouraging positive business outcomes.”
