People: Business Development Manager joins security business; New commercial partner for law firm

Bradford-based Kings Secure Technologies has appointed Jamie Storey, who will be joining the firm as its Business Development Manager for the South.

Storey began his career at Spectrum Access Control, establishing a strong foundation to help him progress further within the Security Industry. With nationwide experience he has focused on nourishing new business opportunities and developing existing customer accounts to meet their critical needs.

He said he was excited by the innovative business culture at Kings, adding: “I feel very privileged to work for Kings Secure Technologies.

“After spending five years in the security industry, I am fully aware of their worthy reputation and I am looking forward to bringing my own work ethic and dynamic to the company. My goal is to strengthen Kings’ client portfolio as a security integrator especially utilising technology such as AI, thermal imaging and combined solutions.’

Regional law firm Bridge McFarland LLP has welcomed Corporate Lawyer Mark Daubney, who has joined the firm as a Partner and will complement the already established team in Hull.

Daubney has over 13 years of experience in running commercial cases with a portfolio of projects including a £2m sale of a print management business, creation of a group from five separate companies, negotiating and drafting of a multi-million pound framework agreement for a software developer and advising on the structure and implementation of a succession plan for a family owned business.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to getting started with the team at Bridge McFarland and supporting the growth of their commercial offer.”
