Veterinary equipment business takes on 10,000 sq ft office base

A veterinary instruments, implants and equipment provider has taken on a 10-year lease for a 10,000 sq ft office suite in Don Valley, Sheffield.

Animal Healthcare Services is moving to the ground floor property at Distington House.

Bill Pelling, Managing Director of the business, said: “We are delighted to have secured the ground floor of Distington House. We were looking for a Grade A office space that could accommodate us, and this property fitted the bill perfectly.

“Sheffield is a great place for our business, and the location of this property will make the major transport routes in and out of the city easily accessible.”

Acting on behalf of Safe Haven Investment, property consultancy Commercial Property Partners (CPP) secured the lease for the company.

Rob Darrington, Partner at CPP who acted on behalf of the landlord, said: “The property is well suited to Animal Healthcare Services Limited, with a large, open plan office space and an array of desirable features, such as the modernised common areas and on-site parking.

“Grade A office stock is running low due to a surge in demand at the moment, so we’re delighted they have snapped up this opportunity.”

Rebecca Schofield, Partner at Knight Frank in Sheffield, who represented Animal Healthcare Services Limited, added: “After an extensive search, Distington House proved ideal for the tenant. It offers fully refurbished accommodation ideally located near Sheffield city centre, Meadowhall and the M1 motorway allowing our client to expand.”
