Construction business appoints two company directors

Leeds-based specialist construction company, Priestley Construction, part of the wider Priestley Group, has appointed two new Board-level directors.

The firm’s Head of Construction, Rob Pell, and Head of Finance, Mike Gregory, have been named as company directors, joining the Board in addition to their existing roles.

Both will be instrumental in driving forward Priestley Construction, in line with the Priestley Group’s overall growth plans.

Pell joined the business in September 2016, having worked in the construction industry for 38 years. Gregory joined in July 2014, having been in the finance industry for 19 years.

Priestley Construction currently has £40m worth of contracts in its pipeline, managed jointly from its Leeds and new London office, which opened in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The firm completes full-scale renovations and new build projects for a variety of companies nationwide. It also conducts all building work on behalf of its sister company, Priestley Homes, which currently boasts a development pipeline of £100m GDV.

At present, employees are working across a variety of schemes in Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Bradford, the North West and London.

Nathan Priestley, Chief Executive Officer of the Priestley Group, said: “Both Rob and Mike play hugely vital roles at Priestley Construction, ensuring we continuously uphold our enviable reputation for delivering high quality work on time and in budget.

“We’re thrilled to welcome them to the board to play an even greater role in the future of the business.”
