ROB Theakston has been appointed joint managing director of Black Sheep Brewery in the Yorkshire Dales.

Mr Theakston, 36, will join his father, Paul, who founded the brewery in 1991, in the role.

Paul will become non-executive chairman in 18 months.

The Black Sheep Brewery, in Masham, North Yorkshire, supplies around 700 outlets throughout the North of England as well as UK wholesalers and pub chains.
