ONE of York’s largest independently-owned hospitality and tourism businesses, up for sale for around £2m, has been bought by Wakefield-based Kaye’s Hotels.

Commercial law firm Denison Till of York completed the sale of the three-star Minster Hotel in Bootham - the fourth time the firm has acted in the sale and acquisition of the 34-bedroom hotel in the last decade.
