ENVIRONMENTAL products group Straight has bought the UK manufacturing operations of a Cyprus-based business in a £1.65m deal.

The move sees Leeds-based Straight acquiring the Rotherham-based refuse and recycling wheelie bin manufacturing business of Helesi.

While Straight holds a share of between 10% and 15% of the UK wheeled bin market, it does not manufacture its own product and it believes the deal will allow
