Funding helps Abbeyfield help the elderly

YORKSHIRE charity Abbeyfield has launched its latest independent living facilities with funding of £1.7m from Barclays.

The Abbeyfield Ilkley Society is a national charity which provides sheltered housing with care for people over the age of 60.

Its facility in Menston, West Yorkshire, will provide extra care supported housing.
