Topping out as Inspire takes shape

A TOPPING out ceremony has marked the completion of the roof at the Bradford business park.

The £4m development will be the home of Europe’s largest straw bale buildings and feature a mixture of offices and work spaces in two buildings.

Tony Holdich, chief executive of the Newlands Community Association which owns and manages the park, said: “It’s been great to watch the buildings at Inspire take shape and it’s fantastic to see the business park beginning to resemble its full form.

“When it’s complete, Inspire Bradford Business Park will be a fantastic asset to both local businesses and the surrounding community and the ceremony marked the completion of a key stage in the construction process.

“We are delighted that so many people recognise this and it was great to welcome so many guests to the ceremony.”

Guests at the topping out ceremony, traditionally held to mark the completion of a building’s highest point included Bradford East MP David Ward.
