GALLIFORD Try, the housebuilding and construction group, has secured work totalling £50m to provide affordable housing in Yorkshire, Devon and Middlesex.

As part of its framework contract with East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Galliford Try has been awarded contracts totalling £14m to provide 137 new homes in Bridlington as part of the Government's new programme of direct funding to local authorities. 

It has also won work in Enfield and Plymouth.
