WELCOME to Yorkshire (WTY) is to launch a major £500,000 initiative to target growth across the business tourism sector.

The Business Tourism Strategy aims to increase the value of corporate business secured by the region's four conference destinations to £1.8m including meetings and incentive travel.

WTY will be working closely with Conference Leeds, York & Scarborough, Conference Yorkshire South and Hull & East Yorkshire Conferences teams.
