Advertising slides at Johnston Press

NEWSPAPER group Johnston Press, the publisher of the Yorkshire Post, has said it is on target to make annual cost savings of £15m, up on previous expectations, as advertising revenues continue to fall.
The Edinburgh-based group said that total advertising revenues were down 7.1% in the four and a half months since the start of the year.
