YORKSHIRE-based confectionary firm Ella Riley has successfully secured the intellectual propery (IP) rights for the much loved Riley Toffee Roll from American giant Kraft.

The 'David and Goliath' legal win sees the old family recipe return back to Yorkshire - a move that will create new jobs and the creation of the region's first eco-factory.

The company, which was founded by Freya Sykes, boasts two shops in Wakefield and Holmfirth. Two more shops are planned for later in the year in York and Leeds.
