SIGHTSEEING bus and boat tours have been launched in a Yorkshire city which each year attracts 14m visitors to help boost the region's economy even further.
Official tourism agency Welcome to Yorkshire has organised the new venture as part of its campaign to make Yorkshire a leading centre for the tourism industry.

Would have been nice to see the bus tours go to some places a little further out, for example Kirkstall Abbey, that might have been of interest. But a decent idea I suppose - the boat trip is definately well priced.

These initiatives are good for any oneWanting tp know the City I suggest that they be kept gong later in the year in order that the freshers at our two Universities can have a good view of the City By the way i am going to go the river trip Well done K

I think it would be more interesting if the boat tour went further than granery wharf, maybe visiting Kirkstall Abbey and then turning round.
