Sweet news for Cadbury as revenues rise

GUM and a drumming gorilla have helped lift Cadbury Schweppes' sales by 7% over the past three months.
The confectionery giant, which manufacturers sweets such as Black Jacks and Fruit Salads at its Hillsborough plant in Sheffield under the Cadbury Trebor Bassett banner, today attributed the rise in revenue to excellent performance in its gum division and other emerging markets despite a recent price rise to offset climbing commodity costs.
