Job creation hit as £40m budget cuts demanded

YORKSHIRE Forward has been told by the Government to make £40m of cuts in a move which the regional development agency said will lead to major schemes being scrapped, TheBusinessDesk.com can reveal.
It is feared that the cuts, which are part of the coalition government's strategy to queeze the public sector and promote private sector growth, will mean 6,500 new jobs will not now be created in the region.
