A HAIRCARE company inspired by a broken fishing rod is targeting global success after winning an export competition.

Doll Haircare was launched after hairdresser Gary Sunderland saw how a snapped carbon fishing rod curled in the sun.

The result was Twiddlestic which used carbon heat absorbing technology which creates curls that stay in place until they are washed out.
