HYGIENE and pest control equipment supply firm P&L Systems Holdings has seen pre-tax profits jump to almost £2m.

The company grew turnover by 5% to £24.8m as operating profit increased from £2.3m to £3.3m.

According to the directors' report for the year to the end of December, the UK remains the company's most important market.
