Stodham invests to grow

STODHAM Investments has taken advantage of the National Loan Guarantee Scheme (NLGS) and refinanced for growth with funding from Barclays.

The business, established in 2001 and based in York, has a long term lease on 31,000 sq ft of key commercial and administrative units at University of York, including the main reception area and the flagship building for the campus.

The new funding has allowed the company to restructure its existing facilities, make distributions and benefit from current interest rates. 

Ian Walker, financial director of Stodham Investments, said: “It was always our intention to review and restructure our existing facilities and the new government scheme couldn’t have come at a better time.

“By using the National Loan Guarantee Scheme we’ve secured significant funding under the schemes’ cash back arrangements which will provide useful working capital to help manage our finances.”
