JAM and chutney manufacturer Mercers of Yorkshire will see 19 of its lines stocked in Asda stores.

The supermarket win will see Mercers expand its present range of jams, marmalades and chutneys, with new product lines including mustards, jellies and savoury sauces.

Paul and Lizzie Mercer, the husband and wife team behind the Mercers of Yorkshire brand, produces all of its range at its own factory based in Wheldrake near York.
