YORKSHIRE lawyers have helped complete a deal which will lead to the creation of 2,000 new jobs.

Peter Barton and Jonathan Asquez from Gordons advised the shareholders of home care provider Direct Health Group in its acquisition by Accord Group.

The deal will see Direct Health, which operates 18 branches across the Midlands, North East and North West, continue as an independent company as an Accord subsidiary.
