YORKSHIRE professionals have advised on the latest deal by food manufacturer Symington's.

The Leeds-based group has acquired Leigh-based Victoria Foods.

Victoria Foods was established in 1982 and produces supermarket branded products as well as a range of speciality brands of baking, dessert and beverage mixes including Nestle, Jane Asher and Peppa Pig baking mixes. 

Symington’s has sites in Leeds and Bradford and employs around 600 people. The group has an annual turnover of £125m.
