'Pop-ups' could put landlords at risk - expert

LANDLORDS have been warned they could be taking a risk by filling empty properties with "pop-up" shops.

These short term stores have become attractive to landlords keen to fill spaces created by the disappearance of many retailers from the high street in recent years.

However, experts have urged property owners to consider the difficult legal position they could find themselves in if they go-ahead with the idea.
