A DESIGN engineer at Surgical Innovations has been named by Business Minister Mark Prisk as one of the 30 young rising stars of the manufacturing world.

Alasdair Mercer has been included in the 'Make it in Great Britain 30 under 30' list.

The campaign aims to transform the image of modern UK manufacturing by using successful young representatives in the industry.
