ISON Harrison has merged with fellow law firm Shaw Gillis.

The move expands Leeds-based Ison Harrison's footprint to seven offices in Yorkshire.

The firm claims to have the largest family law facility in Leeds. Over the last two years it opened offices in Ilkley and Guiseley and now employs more than 160 staff.

Shaw Gillis, based in Morley, Leeds, and is run by Stewart Shaw, who will continue to handle conveyancing, wills and probate and other non-contentious work.
